Kettlethorpe High School

“My mentor has been amazing, I feel that I’ve been really lucky to have her as a mentor. She has been thoroughly supportive and challenges me at any opportunity which was great. I know I could not have done it without her.”

The Mirfield Free Grammar and Sixth Form

“Really welcoming, friendly and helpful.”

“MFG has been the perfect placement for my second placement and their Science faculty are a group of teachers who have an excellent relationship with each other. Without being cliche the group have been like a family who have been excellent with their assistance for me and welcomed me with open arms. All teachers have helped giving me advice throughout without being condescending at all.
It has been great being in a mixed gendered school and has felt like the perfect school in which I would love to work in. The behavioural system has been brilliant to work with and is an excellent system to walk into afresh.”

Trinity Academy, Halifax

“My mentor has been incredibly supportive and always available when I have needed help in planning, marking, subject knowledge and has always provided very useful formal and informal feedback on my lessons. I feel I have made massive amounts of progress due to her commitment and input.”
